Conversations in the House of Life
The Experience
What it feels like from the inside
A consultation isn't a performance of certainty. It's a conversation designed to help you see your life more clearly — especially the parts that keep repeating, the parts you can feel but can't name, and the parts that are trying to change.
Most people come in with one of these sensations:
- "I know what I should do, but I can't move."
- "I keep meeting the same pattern in different clothes."
- "Something is shifting, and I need orientation."
- "I want to understand myself without reducing myself."
This work is for that. Not as fortune-telling, and not as therapy — but as a symbolic practice of sense-making.
"A good reading feels like someone turning the lights on in a room you've been living in for years — not because it gives you answers from the stars, but because the chart gives language to patterns you already live inside."
What It Feels Like
Recognition
You hear something articulated with surprising accuracy — not as flattery, but as structure: motivations, tensions, repeating themes, and the shape of your choices.
Reorientation
You stop wasting effort fighting the wrong battle. You get clearer about what you're actually trying to do, and what you've been using as a substitute.
Relief
Not "I'm off the hook," but "I'm not crazy." The confusion had a form. The pressure had a meaning. The conflict had a logic.
Agency
You don't leave with a script — you leave with better questions, clearer priorities, and a sense of what to practice next.
How a Session Unfolds
We Start With Your Real Life
You don't need the "perfect question." We begin with what's actually happening — relationship, work, direction, identity, endings, beginnings, stuckness, longing.
We Map the Terrain
Giovanni interprets your chart as a coherent symbolic system: themes, strengths, constraints, and core tensions. The goal is not labels — it's orientation.
We Find the Repeating Pattern
Often the most valuable part is naming the loop: what keeps reappearing, how you compensate, what you protect, what you avoid, and what that has been costing you.
We Bring in Timing
Sometimes the question isn't "what is this?" but "why now?" Timing gives context — pressure windows, openings, thresholds — so you can stop taking certain seasons personally.
We Translate Into Practice
You leave with something actionable: a reframe, a decision clarified, a way to work with a tension, a pattern to stop feeding, a next step that fits.
How to Prepare
You don't need to study astrology first. You just need to be willing to look honestly.
- Bring one or two real questions — even if they're messy
- Think about what feels "stuck," "charged," or "urgent" lately
- If you have birth time uncertainty, mention it — we can work with what's available
- Come rested enough to be present. This is reflective work.
If You're Skeptical
Skepticism is healthy when it refuses naive literalism. You don't have to "believe" in astrology for this to be valuable.
Treat it like you'd treat any serious interpretive tool: test it against your experience, notice what clarifies, and discard what doesn't. Skeptics are welcome here.
